Annihilation is a multidisciplinary performance seamlessly blending dance, video, lasers, and electronic music to explore the relationships between humanity, technological progress, and nature. Digital landscapes, created from 3D laser scans, accompany the dancer’s movements, projected in real-time to a 360° soundscape. This amalgamation of human and digital expressions highlights the disastrous repercussions of relentless technological advancement.
